SPACEGUARD

Environment Concept for the fictional Mars based defence network of Spaceguard, from the Sci-Fi book, Rendevous with Rama. In the book, it is mentioned very briefly, as a Mars based network of radio telescopes, that collect and catelog all asteroids and plot their trajectoties.

I always thought it would be cool to organize some huge radio telescopes, like shields in a Phalanx, as if they are defendin the solar system from potential threats.
